My Favourite Bolognese

Bolognese is such a great weekday meal, and I love this recipe because it’s easy and very forgiving. Most of the cooking time is done in the oven, so you can just let it bubble away while you get on with your evening.


I’ve also made it without the sun-dried tomatoes, just using good quality tomato paste and passata, and it still turns out delicious. This is a brilliant recipe to double up and freeze in single portions for super quick meals on busy days.


I usually serve it over a thicker pasta like pappardelle with some hot, garlicky buttery bread on the side truly pure comfort food.
